Mental 10

“Acting with humility in victory is the rule.
Embracing humility in defeat, the exception.”

Not only true in a person-to-person competition, but in anything you fall short of your expectations on.

If you have to scale a motion back before you thought you’d need to, get over it- work harder, refine technique, and do better next time. If your gas tank runs out and you feel yourself breaking- climb through it, analyze why it hwp-contentened, and do better next time.

Use the setbacks. Embrace them.

True defeat can only come from within.

Be self-critical enough to keep your ego in check and allow yourself to learn, but not so much so that you lose focus on your progress.

FTW.
